• Account details — name, email address, password, and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier and email.
• Competitor / registration data — date of birth, nationality, ASN competition licence, gender, shirt size, team/entrant details and assigned kart number.
• Payment data — transaction amounts and proof-of-payment you upload; card/bank details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
• Uploaded documents — files you submit for registration or scrutineering.
• Newsletter — the email address you provide to subscribe.
• Technical data — a login session cookie, a theme-preference stored locally in your browser, and basic log data such as IP address and browser type.

3.How We Use Your Data & Legal Basis

We process personal data to: create and manage your account (performance of a contract); process race entries, licences and payments (contract / legal obligation); communicate operational information and, with your consent, newsletters; produce entry lists, timing and results; and comply with the sporting regulations of Rotax / BRP and the relevant national sporting authorities (ASNs). Where required by law, processing is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4.Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and browser local storage to remember your theme preference. Embedded videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) so that no tracking cookies are set unless you play a video. We do not use advertising cookies.

5.Disclosure to Third Parties

We share personal data only as necessary with: BRP-Rotax and the global Rotax MAX Challenge organisation; national sporting authorities (ASNs) and event officials; and service providers acting on our behalf — including our authentication provider (Google), email provider, payment provider and hosting/database provider. We do not sell your personal data.

As an Asia-wide and internationally affiliated series, your data may be processed in countries other than your own (e.g. Thailand, Malaysia, or within the EU). Where data is transferred across borders, we take appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection law.

7.Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above and to meet legal, accounting or sporting-record obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Our championships include junior categories (e.g. Micro MAX and Mini MAX) in which competitors are minors. Registration and processing of a minor’s data must be carried out and consented to by a parent or legal guardian. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
